The Kent State Environmental Society is an organization where students can come to learn, explore, and engage in environmental discussion and activism on Kent State’s main campus. Our mission is to raise awareness in the student body about environmental issues both on campus and around the globe.
Our main areas of focus are centered upon student interest, and include environmentalism in the community, recycling, green living, local food production, reducing waste, and exploring environmental issues wetlands, endangered species, climate change, and much much more! We are also committed to community service, participating in river cleanups on the Cuyahoga River and the City of Kent’s Adopt-A-Spot program through our Pollinator Garden.
