Agraria Center for Regenerative Practice

Agraria is a nonprofit working toward Bioregional Regeneration in the Miami Valley of Ohio. At our 138-acre farm in Yellow Springs and as bioregional partners, we research, demonstrate, and teach practices to restore the health of soil and ecosystems, heal our relationship with the land, and grow just and equitable food systems.

We offer a 10-month Regenerative Farmer Fellowship for aspiring BIPOC farmers; incubator plots for beginning farmers; annual conferences on Black farming and regenerative agriculture; workshops for gardeners, herbalists and homesteaders; youth programs that teach regenerative skills and nature literacy; and nature-based curriculum for K-12.

We also partner with area universities on research, support gardens and farmer's markets serving food insecure communities in the region, convene a national BIPOC Farming Network, and host community gatherings at our farm to celebrate agrarian culture.

The Land School at Agraria offers a variety of programming including outdoor exploration, outdoor living & regenerative skills, growing food, foraging, wildcrafting, storytelling, plant & animal study, mentorship, empowerment and lots of fun and play! At the Land School, we think of land as sanctuary. We practice and work to build the skills to care for our land and each other.
