What We Do

We produce high quality worm castings from local food waste. Our goal is to create healthier communities and healthier soils.

We are all familiar with metal straws and bamboo utensils as brandished tools of the Zero Waste Movement, but what do we do about our food waste? The average American wastes 250 lbs/year of food (USDA), which has a big impact on our environment. That is why Back2TheDirt offers compost pickup and dropoff for the Greater Cincinnati area. We are located in Anderson Township, but serve eastern/central Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.  Whether you are an apartment dweller with no space to compost, a homeowner without the time, or an environmentally-conscientious business, we can help.
